Italy Serie A-Internazionale vs Parma Match Preview Milan hopes to extend their unbeaten record to five games when they take on Parma at the San Siro stadium on Saturday. The Nerazzurri are back at their best after a sad start to their campaign, and are currently in fifth place with 26 points, eight points behind leaders and crosstown rival league of Milan.

If Inter can overcome Parma, located at 13 th place and winless in their last five games, will be in confident mood to face their last two games of the first round, which incidentally are against two of their rivals in Milan and Lazio.

Inter are the overwhelming favorites to claim the three points, however, Claudio Ranieri will be without the services of the Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder and Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan, while both Jonathan and Cristian Chivu are in doubt for the clash in San Siro.

Ranieri has chosen a balanced side with the Argentine striker Giampaolo Pazzini Diego Milito’s preferred attacking partnership. Inter began the match with nine South American in their line-up including Brazilians of Italian descent international Thiago Motta.

Opponents Parma come into the game having drawn their last four games, and will clearly want to change this statistic to upset Inter, crucial in a fight when you consider that you are at the bottom of the table.

The good news for Parma boss Franco Colomba is that it has the luxury of fielding a real strength of the team, as well as Cristiano Lucarelli, who will sit out the match by disqualification. As expected, Dove is approaching the game with a defensive approach, where he will ask his side to sit back and absorb the pressure before hitting on the break Inter.

Inter has a favorable history against Parma at the San Siro, having endured 13 wins and 6 draws in twenty meetings between the parties. The Nerazzurri have scored 40 goals and conceded only 18. Parma’s only victory came at the San Siro in May 1999.

In the last meeting between the parties, Inter beat Parma 5-2 with a hat-trick from Dejan Stankovic and other goals by Esteban Cambiasso and Motta. While veteran striker Hernan Crespo scored both goals for Parma.
